Sustainability Policy
Apartaestudios La Candelaria is committed to providing sustainable accommodation services, and assuming the principles adopted specifically in the Sectoral Technical Standard NTS–TS 002, through which we commit to carrying out sustainable management of its activities by adopting commitments aimed at preventing, eliminating or reducing the impact of our activities and facilities, both internal and external, as well as optimizing the sustainability of the establishment by improving its behavior with the environment.
Flora and fauna protection policy
Apartaestudios La Candelaria is committed to the preservation of Colombian flora and fauna. To this end, it fully complies with Law 599 of 2000 and Law 397 of 1997, which prohibit the exploitation and trafficking of flora and fauna. Any suspicion that an individual is engaging in these activities will be reported to the police. Law 599 of 2000 of the Colombian Penal Code establishes that it is illegal to introduce, exploit, traffic, trade, use, or benefit from specimens, products, or parts of fauna, flora, forest, or hydrobiological resources of threatened or endangered species, or genetic resources.
Data protection law
In compliance with the provisions of Law 1581 of 2012, "By which general provisions are issued for the protection of personal data" and in accordance with the provisions of Decree 1377 of 2013, I voluntarily, previously, explicitly, informedly and unequivocally authorize the processing of personal data for the purposes related to its object and especially for legal, contractual, mission-related purposes described in the Personal Data Processing Policy.
Code of conduct for the prevention of sexual exploitation of children and adolescents
- Guests are informed that Article 16 of Law 679 of August 3, 2001, relating to the protection of minors from prostitution, applies to our facilities.
- Request information from guests and companions of minors regarding their identity document: passport if foreign and national identity card if national.
- In the case of minors, an identity card or civil registry is requested to verify the link that identifies them with a first-degree kinship. If the person is staying with another minor relative who is not the child, they must carry a letter of authorization from the parents to stay.
